Sometimes you need a stick to your belly, healthy, tasty breakfast! This is a prep the night before idea that will help you on game days!
Fruited Oats!
Tool: Crock Pot or slow cooker
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups steel cut oats
4 cups water
1 cup diced apples
1 cup dried fruits- you could use raisins, berries, apricots. I think a combination of fruits is well suited for this dish.
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in the crock pot. Mix them up. Set the pot for 8 hours on low before you go to bed. Wake up and breakfast is ready- viola!
